Our firm receives different amounts from each of our strategic partnerships, but the average amount remains at $35,000. It is important to mention that NEXT Financial Group does not give representatives a reward, bonus, or incentive for selling shares of our strategic partners. These are options that they can present to interested parties. Our NEXT Financial Group representatives will suggest and recommend these products based on each customer’s specific needs and objectives.
The amount of revenue accrued from these partnerships is devoted to support our marketing efforts like our annual sales conference. This conference allows NEXT Financial Group to communicate new product ideas to our representatives, train them and their assistants, and keep our representatives informed of new regulatory requirements.

The broker/dealer relationship at NEXT Financial Group is superb. It is what has earned them the Broker/Dealer of the Year Award for seven years. But why do the representatives care so much? It’s simple. They are owners of the firm and have naturally developed relationships with people.
Jeff Auld, former President of NEXT Financial Group, Inc., recalls a morning visit to the operations area, where he heard a trader call a rep because she had received a market order early in the morning on a particular stock. She had recalled that the previous afternoon, the rep had called to get some quotes on this stock and wondered where they should make a limit order. The trader took the time to call the rep to verify that he really wanted a market order rather than a limit order, since they had discussed the limit order the day before.
This devotion to accuracy is partly because the people in the NEXT Financial Group office are also owners of the firm. In fact, most of them own stock. “They just seem to develop relationships with reps in the field, and they care a lot,” said Auld. Those two reasons, he says, “are the only reasons I can think of to justify the level of service that we have here.”
